To edit RIP:
From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IPX Routing > RIP.
The RIP dialog box opens.

Table 135 describes the RIP dialog box fields.
Index
The index number assigned to the interface.
State
The current state of RIP on the interface: on, off, auto-on, auto-off. The default is off.
Pace
Frame rate. Default is 20 frames per second; delay time range is 1 to 1000 ms.
Update
Time period (in seconds) after which periodic updates of the current list of active network numbers is sent. Default is 60 seconds with a range of 1 to 2147483647.
AgeMultiplier
The hold multiplier timing parameter. Default is 3 with a range of 1 to 2147483647.
