Enabling or disabling a port

To enable a port:

  1. Highlight the port.
  2. Choose Edit > Port.
    3. The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.
  3. In the section AdminStatus, click up.
  4. Click Apply.
    5. The port is now enabled

To disable a port:

  1. Highlight the port.
  2. Choose Edit > Port.
    3. The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.
  3. In the section AdminStatus, click down.
  4. Click Apply.
    5. The port is now disabled.

To enable or disable a port in another manner:

  1. Right-click the port.
    2. A shortcut menu opens.
  2. Choose Enable or Disable.
