Creating multicast ARP entries

To create multicast ARP entries:

1. From the Device Manager window menu bar, choose IP Routing > IP.

The IP dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.

2. Click the Multicast ARP tab.

The Multicast ARP tab opens.

3. Click Insert.

The Insert Multicast ARP dialog box opens.

4. In the VlanId list box, click the menu next to the VlanId text box to select the VLAN (listed by ID).
5. In the MacAddress text box, type the MAC address of the multicast ARP entry.
6. In the IpAddress text box, type the IP address of the multicast ARP entry.
7. In the Ports box, click the check box to the right of the Ports field.

The rclpMulticastArpPorts dialog box opens.

8. From the list(s), select the ports to associate with the MLT, or click All to select all ports.
9. Click OK.
10. In the MltIds text box, select the MLTs from the list.
11. Click Insert.

The entry appears in the Multicast ARP table.
