Creating graphs

To create a graph for an object:

1. On the device view, select the object or objects you want to graph (see "Selecting Objects").
2. Open the graph window using one of the following methods:
• On the toolbar, click Graph Component.



• From the shortcut menu for the object, choose Graph.
• From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Graph > Chassis or Graph > Port.

A dialog box opens with the System tab displayed if you are graphing a Chassis, and the Interface tab is displayed if you are graphing a Port. The other tabs display different groups of statistics for the selected object.

3. From the Port or Chassis dialog box, select a tab for the group of statistics you want to view. You can choose to graph interface, Ethernet, bridging, STG, routing, OSPF, or RMON statistics.
4. On the displayed data table, select columns or rows to graph.
5. Click one of the graph buttons at the bottom of the tab (see "Creating a graph").
