Setting CLI passwords

If you have Read-Write-All access authority, you can use Device Manager to change the passwords for access to the CLI through a console or Telnet session. If you do not have Read-Write-All privilages, the user name and password fields will be blank. From the Device View, choose Edit > Security > CLI. The fields on the CLI tab allow you to specify user names and passwords for each level of access to the CLI.

The CLI tab also allows you to specify the number of allowed Telnet sessions and rlogin sessions. To prohibit Telnet or rlogin access to the switch, specify zero (0) as the number of allowed sessions.
