You must configure the device globally for OSPF routing before you configure interfaces for OSPF routing. Use the OSPF General dialog box to set parameter values that apply globally to the router's OSPF configuration.
To enable OSPF on a switch:

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose the IP Routing > OSPF. |
| The OSPF dialog box opens, and the General tab is displayed. |
