Controlling access to the Web interface

In Device Manager, use the Web tab to set Web access parameters, including passwords.

To set Web access:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Security.
    2. The Security dialog box opens with the Access Policy tab displayed.
  2. Click the Web tab.
    3. The Web tab opens. Refer to the Web tab fields table for field descriptions. The ROUserName and ROPassword fields allow you to specify the user name and password for access to the Web interface. (All Web pages are read-only pages.) The other fields allow you to specify the path and file name for the Web Help files and to set the number of rows allowed in the Web display.
