Configuring a traffic profile
A traffic profile specifies the handling properties of a traffic flow selected by a classifier. It provides rules for determining whether a particular packet is in profile or out of profile; this determination results in the policing of IP packets within a traffic flow.
To view a traffic profile:

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose QOS > Profile. |
| The QOSProfile dialog box opens. |
To create a traffic profile:
- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose QOS > Profile.
| The QOSProfile dialog box opens. |
- Click Insert.
| The QOSProfile, Insert dialog box opens. |
- Type information in the appropriate fields.
- Click Insert.
