Link Flap tab

Use the Link Flap tab of the Diagnostics dialog box to enable/disable the Link Flap Detect feature. When this feature is enabled, it monitors the number of times a port goes down during a certain interval. If the number exceeds a given boundary, the port is forced out of service.

To access the Link Flap tab:

On the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Diagnostics > Link Flap.


The Diagnostics dialog box opens with the Link Flap tab displayed.
