Configuring ARP

To configure ARP on a routing interface:

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port > ARP.


The Port dialog box opens with the ARP tab displayed.

The table below describes the ARP tab items


Item Description
DoProxy
Proxy ARP allows the Passport 8600 modules to respond to an ARP request from a locally attached host or end station for a remote destination.
DoResp
Sets the Proxy ARP option to respond to an ARP request.
