Circuit tab

Use the Circuit tab to manage the IPX network interface. The term "Circuit" refers to the IPX network interface. In the OperState, IfIndex, or NetNumber boxes, type or select your network interface option.

Note Note: For port-based VLANs, an IPX circuit is "on" only when a link is up in the VLAN. For protocol-based VLANs, a circuit is "on" only after the VLAN receives a packet of the specified protocol type.

To open the IPX Circuit tab:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IPX Routing > IPX.
  2. The IPX dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.
  3. Click the Circuit tab.
  4. The Circuit tab opens.
  5. Change the parameter.
  6. Click Apply.
