Configuring RIP on a router interface

This section describes how you use Passport Device Manager to configure and manage the Routing Information Protocol (RIP) on a brouter port or routed VLAN in a Passport 8600 Switch.


Note Note: To configure RIP, you must already have created the router interface (either a brouter port or a virtual routing interface and assigned an IP address to that interface.
