Viewing DVMRP next hop information
To view information about the DVMRP next hops on outgoing interfaces for routing IP multicast datagrams:

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > DVMRP > Next Hops. |
| The DVMRP dialog box opens with the Next Hops tab displayed. |
The table below describes the fields in the Next Hops tab.

Source

The network address which, when combined with the corresponding next hop SourceMask value, identifies the source for which this entry specifies a next hop on an outgoing interface.

SourceMask
|
The network mask which, when combined with the corresponding next hop Source value, identifies the source for which this entry specifies a next hop on an outgoing interface.
|
IfIndex
|
The DVMRP interface, slot/port number, or VLAN ID for the outgoing interface for this next hop.
|
Type
|
Type is 0, or leaf, if no downstream dependent neighbors exist on the outgoing virtual interface. Otherwise, type is branch.
