Creating a spanning tree group

Note Note: This information applies to Passport 8600 modules only.

To create a spanning tree group:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > STG.
    2. The STG dialog box opens with the Configuration tab active.
  2. In the Configuration tab, click Insert.
    3. The STG, Insert Configuration dialog box opens.
  3. Enter values or select items in the STG, Insert Configuration dialog box.
  4. Click Insert.
