MAC Learning tab
The MAC Learning tab in the Port dialog box allows you to control high-security environments that restrict access to the network, based on the layer 2 media access control (MAC) address of the network devices connected to the Passport 8000 Series switch. Refer to the table below for item descriptions.
To open the MAC Learning tab:
- Select a port(s).
- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port > MAC Learning.
