Editing and viewing IGMP sender settings

To view the Multicast Snoop Sender group characteristics:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > VLANs.
    2. The VLAN dialog box opens with the Basic tab displayed.
  2. Click the Snoop tab.
    3. The Snoop tab opens.
  3. In the Snoop tab, select a VLAN.
  4. Click Multicast.
    5. The Snoop, VLAN dialog box opens with the Receiver tab displayed.
  5. Click Sender.
    6. The Sender tab opens.

The table below describes the Sender tab items.


Item Description
VlanId
The VLAN ID of the ingress VLAN.
IpAddress
Address of the multicast group that the sender is broadcasting.
IfIndex
The logical interface index assigned to the VLAN; this value can be from 2049 to 4095.
Member
Source IP address of the member who joined.
Action
Flush group, flush entry, or none. When a multicast application source is moved to a different switch port, you should flush the entry so that the Inport field updates.
