Routing tab

Use the Routing tab to graph routing statistics for a single port or multiple ports.

To open the Routing tab:

  1. On the device view, select a port or multiple ports to graph.
  2. From the Device Manager window menu bar, choose Graph > Port.
    3. The graphPort dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.
  3. Click the Routing tab.
    4. The Routing tab opens.

The table below describes the items in the Routing tab.


Item Description
InUnicastFrames
The total number of incoming unicast frames routed.
InMulticastFrames
The total number of incoming multicast frames routed.
InDiscards
The total number of frames discarded by the routing entity.
OutUnicastFrames
The total number of outgoing unicast frames routed.
OutMulticastFrames
The total number of outgoing multicast frames routed.
AbsoluteValue
The total count since the last time counters were reset. A system reboot resets all counters.
Cumulative
The total count since the statistics tab was first opened. The elapsed time for the cumulative counter is displayed at the bottom of the graph window.
Average/sec
The cumulative count divided by the cumulative elapsed time.
Minimum/sec
The minimum average for the counter for a given polling interval over the cumulative elapsed time.
Maximum/sec
The maximum average for the counter for a given polling interval over the cumulative elapsed time.
LastVal/sec
The average for the counter over the last polling interval.
