Editing ports

You can edit a single or multiple ports by:

  1. Selecting the port or ports you want to edit
  2. Doing one of the following:
    3. ­ On the device view, double-click a port.
    ­ On the device view, right-click a port. From the shortcut menu, choose Edit.
    ­ From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port.
    ­ From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Select > Port.
    ­ On the toolbar, click the Edit Selected icon.
    The selected Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.

    Note Note: When you edit a single port, tabs that are not applicable are not available for selection.

    When you edit multiple ports, some options are not available, and other options appear available even though the tabs are not applicable. When the tab does not apply for a given port, NoSuchObject is displayed.
