Global default metric speed

To change the default metric speed on specific port types:

1. From the Device Manager window menu bar, choose IP Routing > OSPF.

The OSPF dialog box opens with the General tab displayed.

2. Change the metric value in one or all of the following fields:
• 10MbpsPortDefaultMetric (default = 100)
• 100MbpsPortDefaultMetric (default = 10)
• 1000MbpsPortDefaultMetric (default = 1)
3. Click Apply.

The default port metric speed is changed on all port types for which you have specified a new metric speed.
