Configuring ARP for the interface

Use the ARP tab to set the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) behavior of the routing interface. By default, ARP Response is enabled and Proxy ARP is disabled.

To access the ARP tab:

For an isolated routing port, choose Edit > Port from the Device Manager window menu bar and click the ARP tab.
For a virtual routing port, choose VLAN > VLANs > Basic > IP > ARP.

The table below describes the items in the ARP tab.


Item	Description
DoProxy	Enable or disable ARP proxy responses on the specified interface. The default is set to disable.
DoResp	Enable or disable the sending of ARP responses on the specified interface. The default is set to enable.
