Static Service tab
The Static Service dialog box contains the same information as the previous tab, organized by circuit index number. It lists the types of services configured on the switch.
To open the IPX Static Service tab:

Choose IPX Routing > IPX > Static Service.

The IPX dialog box opens with the Static Service tab displayed.

Note:
To insert a static service, a route to that service must exist (either statically or dynamically).

CircIndex
|
The circuit index number corresponding to the network number.
|
Name
|
The name of the service (48 byte field).
|
Type
|
Type of service provided (in hex).
|
NetNum
|
The IPX network number where this service is available.
|
Node
|
The 6-byte node address. The node and netnum fields correspond to the IPXhost parameter in the CLI.

Note: The NetNum and Node make up the IPX host address where the service is available.
|
Socket
|
The socket address of the service (in hex).
|
HopCount
|
The number of intermediate networks that must be passed through to reach the server.
