Entering MAC addresses manually

To manually enter MAC addresses in the allowed MAC table:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > MAC Learning.
    2. The VLanMacLearning dialog box opens with the Manual edit tab displayed.
  2. Select the Manual Edit tab from the VlanMacLearning dialog box.
    3. The Manual Edit tab opens.


Item Description
Address
Lists all the manually entered MAC addresses for the allowed MAC table.
Ports
Lists the port associated with the MAC address.
Monitor
Displays one of two values:
  • true
  • false
When this field shows true, the MAC address is set to be monitored. For more information, refer to Port mirror tab.
Priority
Shows whether traffic for a listed MAC address is designated low or high priority.

  1. Click the Insert button.
    2. The VLanMacLearning, Insert Manual Edit dialog box opens.
