The main dialog box for managing VLANs in Device Manager is the Edit VLAN dialog box accessed by choosing VLAN > VLANs from the main menu. The tabs in this dialog box are Basic, Advanced, and Snoop.
Note:
After a VLAN is created, the type of VLAN cannot be changed. The VLAN must be deleted and a new VLAN of the chosen type created.
To edit the ports in a VLAN, use the Basic VLAN tab and double-click in the PortMember, StaticMembers, or NotAllowToJoin fields in the VLAN table. Use the dialog box that opens to select available ports for the VLAN. Ports that are already part of the VLAN will appear as depressed buttons. Any changes made to the ports take effect immediately.
