Selecting the MDA

You can select the media dependent adapter (MDA) by clicking inside the graphical representation of the MDA. The edge of the MDA is outlined in yellow.

To select an MDA:

  1. Select the MDA.
  2. Choose Edit > Unit.
    3. You can also right-click the mouse and choose Unit.
    The MDA dialog box opens, which describes the MDA installed in the switch, including the type and version.
