The menu bar provides menus with commands that let you monitor a device.

The table below describes the menu bar.
Menu
Description
Device
The Device menu lets you open a device, as well as view parameters for managing the chassis and system.
Edit
The Edit menu lets you view parameters for the chassis or for a selected module, port, or power supply. This menu also lets you manage files, set security parameters, and run diagnostic tests.
Graph
The Graph menu lets you view Device Manager statistics and produce graphs of the statistics.
VLAN
The VLAN menu lets you view information about VLANs, spanning tree groups (STGs), and Multi-Link Trunks. This menu also lets you open VLAN Manager in a separate window.
IP Routing
The IP Routing menu lets you set up IP routing functions for the switch, including OSPF, RIP, VRRP, Multicast, Layer 3 IGMP, DVMRP, DHCP, UDP forwarding, and filters.
IPX Routing
The IPX Routing menu lets you set up IPX routing functions, including RIP and SAP.
RMON
The RMON menu lets you set up RMON alarms and view the alarm log and history log.
Actions
The Actions menu provides quick access to selected actions without going through other menus and submenus. Use this menu to initiate a Telnet session, open the Web management interface, enable or disable Fast Start spanning tree operation on selected ports, enable or disable RMON history or statistics on all ports, or create an agent simulator file.
Help
The Help menu lets you view online Help topics for Device Manager. This menu also provides a legend for the port colors in the device view.
