Requirements

To use the Web-based management interface you need:

• Netscape Navigator, version 4.5 or later, or Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser, version 4.0 or later, installed on your computer
• The IP address of the Accelar 8000 switch
• Network connectivity to the switch
  
  

  Note: As long as you have a route to the switch and there are no filters or access policies in effect, you should be able to monitor the switch using the Web interface.

  
  

Access to the Web management interface must also be enabled for the switch (the default setting). You can enable or disable Web access using the config web-server command in the CLI or by choosing Edit > Chassis > System in Device Manager. On the System tab, set the EnableWebServer parameter to true.
