Parts of a Management Window

A Management Window opens when you choose a command on the Device Manager menu bar or a shortcut menu.

Management Windows provide a way to add and change MIB object information about the whole device or an object you have selected.

A Management Window has three parts as shown in the following example.

The following table describes the Management Window parts.

Part
Description
Display Tabs
MIB information tabs.
Input Text Fields
Contains input text areas, toggle switches, and MIB information to be updated.
Commands buttons
Used to control the management window.

For a description of the MIB attributes displayed in a Management Window:

  1. On the Management Window Toolbar, click Help.
